Basil Lemongrass Soap
I’ve been quiet for almost a week, I know — I’ve been busy! But you’ll hear about that soon. Right now I want to introduce my Basil Lemongrass Soap.
I’d bought the lemongrass oil a while ago, planning to do sample soaps for a friend to use as giveaways for her own business. I couldn’t figure out what to blend it with, though — I tried a lot of different scents and none of them wanted to work. I finally had a revelation while lingering over a plate of curry — and bought a bottle of basil essential oil.
Sweet lemongrass and earthy basil go just as well in a soap as in a good curry. I’ve added basil leaves for gentle exfoliation. I really like this soap — I bet you will too.
