Dalmatian Dreams Soap
…this one’s gonna want some backstory. And no, it’s not about the dog.
See, my friend Andro is from Croatia, and fought in the war there in the 90s. His memories of that part of the world are — well — let’s just say that when he thinks of ‘Georgia’, peaches are not the scent that comes to mind. I’ll leave it at that.
When one has an international audience, one ought to watch out for things like this. Now, I don’t think I’m gonna change the name of my Georgia on my Mind soap when I make more, but at least I’ll keep the other implications in mind…
…so anyway, after gently explaining his conundrum with the soap, he kindly gave me an idea. Lavender, rosemary and sage, and I was supposed to call it Dalmatian Dreams, because those are the scents that make him think of home. And I tell you what, if Croatia smells anything like this soap, I think I need to visit someday.
I mean, this is what Croatia looks like…

…to which my only possible response is ‘Let’s go!’.
