Friday Feature: Hats by Anne
Anne of Hats by Anne came to her craft recently — she retired from a long teaching career two years ago to discover that she has a talent for crochet — in fact, she never uses patterns to make her beautiful hats and scarves. I admit I’m impressed!
She crochets in everything from polyester suede and acrylic yarn to cotton and even bamboo. Her hats range from simple slouches to newsboy caps — I have no idea how she manages that without a pattern but she does! And two dollars from every sale she makes goes to the Hospice of Denver.
