Bugs getting to you? It’s always mosquito season somewhere. I don’t much like putting DEET on my skin so I came up with an alternative. Plus, it smells better.
I’ve blended a selection of insect-repelling oils — citronella, spearmint, and lemon eucalyptus among others — with water, witch hazel (an astringent), and aloe vera juice (a gentle skin-soother).
It’s all handmade, and it’s all natural. Always.

It smells great, and my kids like it. My daughter has not been bitten once since I’ve been using it. Which is great b/c she is two and has terrible reactions to mosquito bites.
